Kofu City

Kofu is the capital of Yamanashi and a great starting point for your journey. Visit Maizuru Castle Park, once the home of the famous samurai lord Shingen Takeda. Kofu is also known as the birthplace of Japanese wine—don’t miss the chance to taste local “Koshu Wine” at one of the many wineries.

Shosenkyo Gorge

Yatsugatake Mountains
